Professor T returns for an explosive 4th season with Professor Jasper Tempest once again using his unique insight and analysis to help the police solve a range of intriguing crimes in the beautiful university city of Cambridge. This series the team are struggling to deal with the death of DI Lisa Donckers and consumed by grief Dan throws himself into his work whilst the Professor hides in his lectures and a new hobby of drumming, avoiding the police at all costs. But as the series goes on, Helena, Jasper’s therapist, helps him face back up to his police work and grow closer with Dan once again. The police team continue to fight some knotty and dangerous cases with the addition of a new team member, DC Chloe Highsmith. The Dean is thrown by the return of an old flame, Zelda, who is Adelaide’s sister and Jasper’s aunt. As their love blooms across the series, Jasper also starts to realise his own heart is longing for someone too.
